The death of Jack Layton is so heartbreaking. I just believed in him so fully... How is it that we lose the one leader that actually gave us all such hope?

Sporty Summer

It has been a very sporty summer, baseball and volleyball three to four times a week!

Probably a good thing considering today I had three mini-cupcakes, and a lot of bread and cheese. But, hey. It's a birthday!

Girls

I want to live with girls.

I look at pictures of girl friends-- girls who live together and go out together every night and tell each other everything and are always there for each other... and it makes me so sad. Don't get me wrong-- I have some lovely girl friends. But we've never been really the kind of girls to gush to one another. To be girly and cute and lovey and fun.

I can talk about anything with Bee, and there are a few others I'm sure I could as well-- but I need more time to build those, or rebuild those.

I think there is something to be said for living with girls though. Girl bonding at its best. And I want that.
